 Lucky number seven!!! We can’t believe this coming season will be our seventh...boy, time does fly! We consider ourselves very blessed to own Blue Water and have the opportunity to bring so many people(including ourselves) happiness. We are also so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know so many of you and be able to call you friends. 2007 was a rough year with Dan’s Mom passing. It was so nice of everybody to ask about her last season, but difficult to keep the tears back because we miss her so much! We were so blessed to have the time we had with her and are glad a lot of you special guests were here to meet her. We are so lucky to have the time we have with all of our family and friends and have been reminded that we should all live for today! Bring on 2008!

Over this past year we’ve had some wonderful things happen! We completed the lake kitchen and lower banquet room. This has allowed us to offer smaller weddings (under 50) during the season when the Adirondack room is full with the meals included guests and also to offer our room guests a nice spot with a lake view to have a special party while here for their stay(be sure to call and book it early!). Our room guests were also able to enjoy the breath-taking view from the new deck on the Manor House!

As usual, we will have plenty of fun-filled activites for our guests. If the watersports during the day don't tire you out, there will be plenty of night time entertainment. 7 nights a week there will be a supervised kids' movie while live music goes on for the parents in the Manor House. Monday is Caribbean Night with Steel Drum player and limbo contest for the kids, Tuesday is Comedy, Trivia, and Kaeroke, Wednesday is Outdoor Movie Night on the bigscreen(just like the drive-in!), and Thursday is Campfire Sing-A-Long night complete with 'Smores. A new addition to Friday last year, which will be back this year, is Bubbles the Clown-great entertainment for the little ones and balloon animals for everyone!

We've been enjoyng a snowy December-Danny loves sledding and making snowmen...and we all know how kids hate presents(he’s an expert present opener now since his birthday also falls in December)! This winter we aren’t doing any major additions or changes, just our standard renovations with the rooms(bathrooms, roofs, paint, rugs, decks, etc.). We are looking forward to a warm, relaxing, and fun-filled 2008 season and hope you’ll all be joining us for it! As usual, we are giving our return guests first preference in room choices and would like those reservations confirmed by February 15th. So, if we haven’t already spoken with you, give us a call and book your 2008 accommodations and start counting down to an awesome vacation! Be sure to check our website for discount specials, including a new incentive program for first time and return guests who have not been back in awhile!
